Down On The Farm

Old MacDonald isn’t the only one who had a farm; today, the Launch Zone celebrates farming and agriculture. Make your own farm animal puppets, participate in a demonstration that replicates what it feels like to milk a cow, and learn about farming from some very special guests from the Accokeek Foundation. Make sure to come by at noon and 2 p.m. to say "Hello!" to our favorite cornhusk mascot, Cornelia, from the Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission.
