This April, we celebrate a healthy earth and healthy bodies with programs designed to move your feet!
Inspired by TOMS' mission to provide footwear to impoverished children around the world, the Museum is partnering with TOMS to raise awareness of this global crisis within our local communities. Museum visitors will have an opportunity to experience what it would be like to live without shoes, and then document their thoughts and ideas on how to help others on the NCM/TOMS pledge wall. This program will take place on April 13 and April 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Center for Learning & Innovation.
Join us on April 20 and April 21 for two opportunities to get your groove on! The Princess Mhoon Dance Institute will offer visitors a special performance and dance class, while a show by the acclaimed Ballet Petite will inspire you to try out some new moves. Both performances will take place in the NCM theatre and are included in your cost of admission to the Museum.
